Simple joys that make a house a home...

One of my favorite things to do, is to scour the internet for old-fashioned recipes. A few years ago, I learned how to make sourdough breads. I really need to make more, it's been forever it seems! Here's a picture of a loaf I made. Sourdough can be as complicated, or as simple, as you please. Most of mine have been complicated, mostly because I followed recipes exact and started to second-guess myself along the way. If you haven't tried it yet, you should. Just remember, to keep your starter fed! The older I get, the harder it is to remember to feed a jar! lol
